"I began taking Spanish lessons with Rebeca in 2015.  I couldn't converse or understand the spoken language. Rebeca took a logical approach to teaching, first the basics, then building on the basics. She utilized worksheets and study materials to build vocabulary, and simple conjugations of verbs. Rebeca is a very patient teacher.  I never felt intimidated while trying to express myself. She expanded the curriculum through the use of other media:  cartoons, children's tv programming, children's books became part of our classes.

I set a goal for my learning progress, which was to pass the DELE B2 test. (Nivel intermedio avanzado). Eventually,  I did pass the test in 2019.  I owe it all to Rebeca and her encouragement and guidance. Today, I still take 2 or 3 of her classes weekly. She is a great teacher, her flexibility, enthusiasm, and compassion set her apart."

"Rebeca Gonzalez de Lowe is the best online teacher we have found in the pandemic. My daughter loves her class. It's a much more meaningful experience than just signing up for a group chat on Outschool. Rebeca offered to either teach lessons along with a book or just have conversations. We opted for conversations. The result has been my daughter is much more comfortable and fluent speaking in Spanish. She looks forward to the calls. She writes stories in Spanish to tell Rebeca. During the call I hear Rebeca gently correcting her. If my daughter gets stuck, she can duck back into English and Rebeca explains how to say it. I know she's getting better because I can no longer understand all that they're saying. I couldn't recommend Rebeca as a Spanish teacher more highly. She's also a kind and interesting person.
